Nate Wiechmann, D.C.
As a board-certified chiropractor and former collegiate athlete, Dr. Wiechmann understands the demands that are required for living a healthy and active lifestyle. He also believes that being a chiropractor is about more than simply treating patients when they’re sick or injured; it’s about engaging them in their desire to remain healthy.
Originally from Stilwell, Kan., he grew up helping on his family farm near Atlantic, Iowa, and went on to play football for Pittsburgh State University before transferring to the University of Kansas. He earned his bachelor of science and doctor of chiropractic degrees from Cleveland Chiropractic College, where he graduated with honors. During his time at Cleveland, he received extensive training in pediatric, geriatric, prenatal, postpartum and athletic care, even seeking additional training outside the classroom.
His specializations include:
- Autonomic Response Testing
- Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)
- Fascial Movement Taping (FMT)
- Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR)
- Functional Movement Systems
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment
- Sports Medicine
- The McKenzie Method® (MDT)
- Trigger Point Dry Needling
Dr. Wiechmann is a proud husband and father. When he’s not at the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, golfing, gardening and helping on his family’s farm. You may even see him at some of your local high school sporting events, where he occasionally serves on the sidelines.
