Our Team

Hi! We’re Dr. Nate and Melissa Wiechmann, owners of Pott. County Sports & Family Chiropractic. With strong family ties to Western Iowa, we opened our first clinic in Oakland in 2016. Three years later, we expanded to Council Bluffs and now provide chiropractic care, sports medicine, functional medicine and other wellness services in two convenient locations. Together, we share a passion for helping people live healthier lives, and we can’t wait to get to know you more!

Nate Wiechmann, D.C.

As a board-certified chiropractor, former collegiate athlete and sports medicine specialist, Dr. Nate understands the physical demands of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. He believes chiropractic care goes beyond simply treating injuries—it’s about helping patients prevent them and supporting their long-term wellness goals.

Dr. Nate grew up in Stilwell, Kan., and spent much of his childhood helping on his family’s farm near Atlantic, Iowa. After playing football for Pittsburgh State University and transferring to the University of Kansas, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from Cleveland Chiropractic College, graduating with honors. He pursued additional training in various specialized areas, such as pediatric, prenatal, postpartum and geriatric care, as well as advanced sports medicine techniques and functional medicine.
